Coalition: What Is Your Relationship With Buhari, Is He A Member Of PDP? – Bode George Slams Atiku
Bode George, the former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has denounced Atiku Abubakar, the party’s 2023 presidential contender, over his visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari.
As you may remember, Atiku paid Buhari a visit at his home in Kaduna State, accompanied by former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal.
However, Atiku made it clear that the main purpose of the visit was to celebrate Sallah and not to discuss the proposed political party coalition that would strengthen the opposition.
The visit was denounced in an exclusive interview with George, who insisted that Atiku had no business with Buhari.
After gaining advantages from the PDP, he chastised Atiku for contemplating a merger. Since the PDP is the only party in the nation with a formal structure, he urged other parties to join.
“They went to see Baba Buhari,” George added. Does Buhari have a PDP membership? Aside from sharing an area, what connection do Atiku, his team, and Buhari have?
“What’s the core? Our party was beneficial to you. You are discussing Mega. You haven’t told your party about the mega.
The Oak Tree is the only political party in this nation; in Yoruba land, it is known as the Iroko Tree. You’re telling people that you ought to throw a huge party. Let them join us.

“In this country, we are the only political party. Anyone with structures is challenged by me.
“National, state, and zonal structures are what I mean by structure.” In other words, you have a national treasurer, national secretary, national woman leader, and a youth leader.
“Who is the APC’s national secretary, national treasurer, and national organizing secretary? All of these structures.
And visit every state if you can find even one person—nobody. It belongs to one person. Atiku’s actions are self-aggrandizement. What do you want from Baba Buhari? Does he belong to our party?
