Daddy Freeze Says His Family Was Threatened Over Pastor Comments

Ifedayo Olarinde, sometimes known as Daddy Freeze, is a well-known media figure who has claimed that he was threatened with murder years ago for his criticism of Nigerian pastors.
Co-host Daddy Freeze clarified in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast that his family members were also threatened with death.
He added that his vocal criticism of Nigerian pastors motivated others to call for clerics all throughout the country to answer for their actions.

“After my divorce, my pastor attempted to make amends with my ex-wife, but I told him I wasn’t interested,” he claims. I was therefore prohibited from assisting at church functions and from occupying the front row. Jesus never chastised the woman who had been married five times and was living with a sixth guy. This made me feel rejected. I’ve only gone through one divorce, and my church is treating me like I did murder. As a result, I began reading scriptures in their original languages and quit attending church. I became more and more interested in the scriptures. Any Nigerian pastor would make sense to you, but you can’t do that to yourself for a year. You can’t.

“I am the one who has been persecuted by Nigerian pastors and their henchmen most likely. They referred to me by disparaging names. Threats against my life were passed on to my relatives. That was ten years ago. People are standing up to the church now because of the job I accomplished.
