Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has ordered all political appointees in his administration to submit their academic qualifications and curriculum vitae for scrutiny.
His order comes weeks after Commissioner-designate, Sidi Osho, was denied admittance in the governor’s cabinet over controversies around her professorship qualification at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye.
She was later sacked by the university’s management.
Mr Abiodun’s order was contained in a circular reference number SSG/ADM. 22/251 signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi.
