Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, a former Labour Party vice presidential candidate, has implied that Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, would be affected by the betrayal he experienced from a close friend.
Baba-Ahmed claimed during Tuesday’s Prime Time program on Arise Television that this injury would excuse Wike’s involvement in the ongoing leadership crisis engulfing the PDP.
He claimed that the FCT Minister kept the party going while others were gone, but he also claimed that Wike was not treated fairly by the PDP.
The former vice presidential candidate claims that Wike was betrayed by his friend at the most crucial point in the PDP’s presidential primary.
“You see, I disagree with what Wike is doing, but he has some justification for it. Baba-Ahmed stated, “I’m attempting to psych how he thinks and all that, whatever he’s doing, deep down in his mind.”
At the most crucial time, a very close friend of his betrayed him in front of everyone at Eagle Square, where he was hosting a party while others were away.

As far as he is concerned, “I will teach these two Northerners, these two Hausa-Fulanis, and these two Muslims who deceived me a lesson.” It’s Wike here.
Therefore, I want to treat him fairly from a human standpoint. Anyone who receives such treatment will undoubtedly retaliate. It was unfair.
“Be careful, even when you’re politicking, be careful when you ask for betrayal, and be careful with your tricks,” I used to advise these folks. Sometimes you can fix someone beyond belief.
“Well, the people who did this to Wike, you know, they come from a very rich history with what he did for them in 2011, the relationship, the friendship, how it lasted, became a long way and at the very last, they did this to him. He’ll ruin the celebration. He is an individual.
