Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, the daughter of former Delta State Governor James Ibori and the National Assembly representative for the Ethiopia Federal Constituency, has called her switch from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) the best move she has ever made in her political career.

At the same time, Ibori-Suenu charged that the PDP was trying to suppress her political ambitions.

She also thanked the leaders of the APC and her followers for their support.

Ibori-Suenu was known to have recently defected from the PDP to the APC.

Ovie Omo-Agege, the immediate past deputy president of the Senate, praised Ibori-Suenu’s defection and called her a political bulldozer.

With her action and the backing of other APC members, Omo-Agege said she was confident the party will win Delta State in the 2027 elections.

The APC has a stronger chance of capturing Delta with the backing of Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu.

Omo-Agege stated, “Her enthusiasm and commitment will significantly improve our chances.”
