Kano State Deputy Governor, Aminu Gwarzoon, on Sunday, expressed condolence to both the immediate family and entire people of Shanono and Bagwai Local Government Areas following the death of their lawmaker at the House of Assembly , Alhaji Halilu Kundila.
Gwarzoon, who also doubles as the Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of the lawmaker.
In a press statement issued to newsmen by his Press Secretary, Ibrahim Shuaibu, the deputy governor described the late Kundila, who who died on Saturday as a respected personality in Shanono and Bagwai LGAs.
According to the press statement, the news of his demise has left the communities in a state of mourning and sadness.
He emphasized the contributions made by the late lawmaker in the development of his constituents.
“His passing away is a great loss not only to his family and his constituents but to the entire state and nation at large.
“We pray Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus.
“The people of Shanono and Bagwai should remain united and support one another, as they mourn the loss of their beloved Lawmaker, the Deputy Governor asserted,” he said
