Former lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Senator Dino Melaye, on Tuesday, attacked people peddling rumour of his supposed plan to leave the Peoples Democratic Party for the ruling All Progressives Congress.
The flamboyant politician described the ruling APC as a non-governmental organisation.

“…How can l leave a Political Party and join an NGO like APC. Yeye dey smell,” Melaye tweeted.
This is coming in the wake of talks between a PDP chieftain and former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode and APC leaders over possible defection.
Melaye and Fani-Kayode are part of the most vocal critics of the Buhari administration.
