Don’t Gamble With 2027 – Shehu Sani Cautions Obi Against Leaving Labour Party

The former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has been urged to stay in the Labour Party (LP) by former federal senator Shehu Sani.
Remember that Obi was the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 presidential candidate.
After President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar, who ran on the platforms of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), respectively, he finished third.

However, since the last election, the Labour Party has experienced a number of internal problems, with two factions vying for control of the organization.

Following the leadership contest, Obi has been at the center of conversations about the party’s future.

Notwithstanding these difficulties, Obi has remained in the LP and distanced himself from recent rumors that he could join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a member of an opposition alliance in the run-up to the general elections in 2027.

Shehu Sani’s Birthday Suggestions for Peter Obi
Sani, a former Kaduna State senator, joined the host of Nigerians in commemorating Obi’s 64th birthday on Saturday (today) and suggested that the former governor think about remaining in the Labour Party.

“Happy Birthday, Mr. Peter Obi. It’s the Devil, you know, so hold your labor, I say. In his official 𝕏 handle, Sani said, “Don’t chase two rabbits at the same time,” advising Obi to refrain from changing platforms in light of the current political unpredictability.
