Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, the renowned singer, has strongly denied the death rumors, telling his admirers that he is still alive, well, and optimistic.
Obey-Fabiyi responded to the unfounded allegations in a video released Tuesday morning, with a dynamic performance that amply demonstrated his wellbeing.
Renowned for his proficiency in Yoruba, English, and Pidgin, the artist assertively denied the allegations while singing in his distinctive way, “Hello, my name is Professor Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi.” Satan, you don’t lose, you don’t lose, you don’t lose, you don’t lose. It’s a lie, you talk, you wear pafuka.

As he continued to refute the rumor, Obey-Fabiyi stated, “It is false information that began a few hours ago that I, Evangelist Obey, had gone to heaven. It is a falsehood. That’s not what Jesus wrote, and I’m still here.
The music legend’s fans expressed their sorrow after hearing the rumor of his passing on Monday. As soon as the news spread, many people took to social media to share their sadness.
However, Obey-Fabiyi’s assistant, Tope Olukole, soon stepped in to put the record straight.
Olukole stated that the musician was alive and well in an interview with TVC on Monday night.
The truth must be told: Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi is still alive and well! “He recently celebrated a happy occasion — the 50th birthday of his second child’s spouse,” Olukole said, saying he was relieved to see his boss busy and happy.
He passed away, but the rumors are completely untrue and incorrect. He’s healthy and active, which we appreciate,” Olukole continued.
The death fake emerged only one month after Obey-Fabiyi’s 83rd birthday, which was joyfully and warmly observed by his family and supporters.
