Celebrity bartender, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has lamented the stress caused by his ordeal with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This is as he urged Nigerians to ensure they steer clear of the anti-graft agency.

Cubana Chief Priest said Nigerians won’t like the kind of stress EFCC puts suspects through during trial.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, the nightlife king wrote: “Court day, problem no good Oh, @officialefcc No Dey Joke Oh !!!! Better stay away from their wahala, I’m sure you will not love to pass through this Kinda stress I’m passing through.”

This comes hours after reports emerged that he had agreed to an out-of-court settlement.

The EFCC had on April 17 arraigned Cubana Chief Priest before a Federal High Court in Lagos, on three counts of spraying and tampering with the naira notes during a social event at Eko Hotel.

He had pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N10 million.

Justice Kehinde Ogundare had then adjourned the case until May 2, for a hearing of the preliminary objection and trial.

During sitting on Thursday, both parties agreed to settle the matter out of court.

The trial was then adjourned to June 5 for the hearing of the settlement report.
