Adewole Adebayo, the former Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, asserted that President Bola Tinubu’s ouster from office is already assured by 2027.
Adebayo further asserted that the next Nigerian president will be produced by his party, the SDP.
He made this claim on Friday while answering questions on the Morning Show program on Arise Television.
The announcement was made a few days after Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, joined the SDP.
El-Rufai is a hardworking and patriotic Nigerian, according to Adebayo, who also said that the former governor is highly effective in a field where there aren’t many capable leaders.
“I welcome El-Rufai to my party because I see him as a patriotic Nigerian who works hard and is very effective in an area where we don’t have effective people in government,” he stated.
“There will undoubtedly be an SDP president if Tinubu is ousted from office.
It is not inside our party, as a coalition, and so forth. Perhaps they are in the middle of a conversation outdoors and feel comfortable enough to come to the SDP and attempt to work there. However, we continue to follow our program in SDP.

We were aware that they wouldn’t last when they banded together and headed to Chatham House. We were aware that they would be dispersed once they began to divide the benefits of office. We were aware that their programs would become less popular and ineffective for the general public.
Thus, we got to work planning our celebration. We have begun to manage our party and are not in a crisis. We were not interested in joining them when they offered us a position. We stayed put and continued to speak with folks. As the year progresses, many more will join us.
