The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has received praise from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa for the progress made in the current state gubernatorial election.
Mr. Doifie Boukoribo, the APC Publicity Secretary for Bayelsa, made the praise shortly after he cast his ballot in Okpoama Brass Local Government Area (LGA) polling unit 4, Ward 4 Okpo Play Ground II.

However, Boukoribo voiced his dissatisfaction with reports that claimed certain APC members were barred from voting in Kolokuma Opokuma LGA areas, including Sampou.
He urged security services to intervene and make sure that every Bayelsa resident who is old enough to vote does so.
