Enone Constituents Laud Rep. Okanga, Pledge Continued Support Beyond 2027

Residents of the Enone federal constituency in Benue State have expressed strong confidence in their representative in the House of Representatives, Hon. Okanga, describing his leadership as impactful and transformative across communities in the area.

Speaking on the state of development in Enone, constituents said that while the state has an elected governor, Rep. Okanga has effectively filled critical governance gaps through sustained projects and empowerment initiatives. According to them, communities from Ado to Okpokwu, and from Okpokwu to Ogbadibo, are witnessing visible infrastructural development and people-oriented programmes.

The constituents noted that empowerment initiatives under Okanga’s leadership have reached a wide segment of the population, helping to improve livelihoods and boost local economic activities. They added that these interventions have set Enone apart from other local government areas where residents continue to complain of neglect.

Expressing optimism about the future, the Enone people said they are hopeful that Rep. Okanga’s dedication and performance will eventually earn him higher responsibilities. They prayed for his elevation to the position of governor, believing that such an office would further enable him to drive development in Benue State or the proposed Apa State.

They emphasized that quality leadership is rare in Nigeria’s challenging political environment and stressed that Okanga’s commitment should not be taken for granted. As a result, the constituents declared their intention to stand firmly behind him to ensure continuity of projects beyond 2027, with some projecting support until 2031 before considering him for higher office.

The Enone community concluded by calling for sustained unity to protect and advance the development gains already achieved.
