‘Even Buhari Appointed You, But Who Are You?’ – Bulama Slams Malami

Waziri Bulama, the former national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has criticized Abubakar Malami, the former attorney general of the Federation, over his comments against Senator Tanko Al-Makura.
Remember how Malami rejected Al-Makura’s group’s assertions that APC members in the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) caucus had endorsed President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 elections and ruled out defection?

Malami charged that Al-Makura and his team were discrediting former president Muhammadu Buhari in an effort to become more politically significant.

In an interview with Arise News on Wednesday, Bulama responded to Malami’s petition by stating that Malami is not qualified to speak for anyone.

“For heaven’s sake, who is Malami, even though Buhari appointed him as Justice Minister?” he said. He is not qualified to speak for anyone on any matter.

He continued by commending Tinubu for honoring the memories of the late Buhari.

“The President has honored President Buhari sufficiently. He oversaw his state funeral. He was in severe mourning. Tinubu and Buhari described themselves as political allies and friends. He claimed that they banded together to create the APC, which ended identity politics and created history by winning three straight presidential elections.
