Nigerians have blamed the founder of Invictus Group, Obinwanne Okeke, for some 77 Nigerians named in what is described as the biggest fraud in America’s history.
Days after the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) charged Obi over conspiracy to commit fraud of about $12 million, some 77 Nigerians have been named in what is described as the biggest fraud in America’s history.
A 252-count federal grand jury indictment unsealed Thursday charged the Nigerians with participating in a massive conspiracy to steal millions of dollars through a variety of fraud schemes and launder the funds through a Los Angeles-based money laundering network.
See what Nigerians had to say on Twitter.
If Invictus Obi snitched on 80 Nigerians so that they might reduce his sentence. That means those 80 Nigerians will snitch on others to reduce their sentence to. Before you know The FBI will carry all the yahoo yahoo boys in this country. Chineke anyi Di imirimius pic.twitter.com/2b6nNS0thA
