Arising from the incessant and unlawful grabbing of lands belonging to the Federal College Of Agriculture, Akure, by mischief makers, the leadership of the student’s union in collaboration with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ondo State axis took to the streets to protest against the development.

The demonstration, which was held within the early hours of Wednesday, had in attendance all students of the institutions, students’ union leaders, the management team of the institution and security agencies alongside journalists.

The President of the students’ Union, Comr. Ademola Oduntan, in his address to his colleagues and pressmen, condemned the invasion of the institution, saying the sale of the land belonging to the institution was illegal and irresponsible.

Comrade Oduntan warned the perpetrators to desist from such illegal acts as it amounted to an open declaration of war on the educational values the school contributes to society and a direct threat to the sustainability roles the lands plays as an institution of agriculture.
