Victor Ogba, a former Edo State chairman of the now-defunct National Conscience Party (NCP), claims that President Bola Tinubu’s significant and historic reforms are the reason he chose to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Abuja, Ogba made the claim.
He made a suggestion that September 16 is the date of his official APC declaration.
As the National President of the Movement for Nigerian Transformation (MNT), Ogba praised Tinubu for his brave changes in every area.
“The APC has continued to gain members as a result of the historic reforms,” he stated.
He mentioned that on August 22, the APC chairman of ward 5 in Delta’s Isoko South Local Government Area welcomed him.
After playing politics in Edo for a while, it’s time for me to return to Delta, my home state.
“This process is consistent with my commitment to a progressive Nigeria and will formally begin on September 16.
He promised, “I will use my extensive political experience to the greater good of the APC.”
In order to advance and stabilize the political system, Ogba reaffirmed his commitment to working with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other APC leaders in Delta.
“I will use excellent planning and mobilization to help the APC succeed, just as I did with the NCP.
“I will adhere to the party’s constitution and encourage Nigerians to keep supporting the APC in order to realize President Tinubu’s vision,” he declared.
