Galatasaray Fumes Over Osimhen Hold-Up, Chelsea Pulls Out of Maignan Deal

The inability of Victor Osimhen to make a permanent transfer to the Turkish champions has angered Galatasaray’s vice president, Abdullah Kavukcu.
Additionally, Osimhen was cautioned by Kavukcu that his uncertainty would soon compel the club to look into other choices.
During his 2024–2025 loan with Galatasaray, the Nigerian striker had an incredible season, contributing 37 goals and eight assists in 41 games to help Okan Buruk’s team win the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup.

Galatasaray is apparently pushing for his signature and has put up a huge offer that is higher than what most European teams have put up.

Despite also declining offers from the Saudi team Al-Hilal, Osimhen has postponed making a definitive choice over his future while on vacation in Nigeria.
“He’s keeping us waiting, but we’re running out of time,” Kavukcu stated. “He has been offered figures that are higher than those suggested in Europe.”

Chelsea has formally withdrawn their interest in AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan in England.

The Blues evaluated their current goalkeeping alternatives and chose not to pursue the French international, according to Sky Sports News. POCO electronic devices

Mike Penders, Djordje Petrovic, Filip Jorgensen, and Robert Sanchez are Chelsea’s current four goalkeepers. The club has decided that at least two of them will leave this summer.

One is anticipated to go on loan to Strasbourg, a Ligue 1 team, while the other will be sold in an effort to rebalance the roster and get playing time elsewhere.

Chelsea rejected talks without submitting a formal proposal, despite Maignan being offered to them earlier in the window. The likelihood that manager Enzo Maresca will acquire a new goalkeeper this summer is still low.
