The new governing board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) was inaugurated by Festus Keyamo, the minister of aviation and aerospace development.
Former All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje will chair the board, according to a post on X on Wednesday by Gbenga Saka, the minister’s senior assistant on digital media.
A few days have passed since Ganduje resigned as chairman of the ruling party.
42 federal organizations’ board chairs and a secretary to the board of the civil defense, immigration, and prisons services were named by President Bola Tinubu on January 24.

Raji Kolawole was named director-general of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) by Tinubu, while Kayode Opeifa was named managing director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).
Felix Morka, the spokesperson for the APC, was named the board head of the Federal Medical Center in Yenagoa, while Ganduje was also named the chair of the FAAN.
