Global Integrity Crusade Network (GICN), a pro-democracy anti-corruption and justice sector Civil Society Organization based in Abuja has approved the appointment of Josephine Eboh Ejeh as its Media Officer.

The appointment which was announced on Thursday, 4th March, 2021 by the Chairman Board of Trustees/President of GICN, Barrister Edward Ejembi Omaga, is with immediate effect.

Josephine who hails from Ogene-Amejo in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State is a media and communication expert with many years of experience in print, online journalism, blogging, website management, social media handling and public relations.

Having served with International Non Governmental Organisations like the United Nations International Children Education Fund (UNICEF), Mercy Corps, other local NGOs as well different media organisations cutting across the print and online publications as a seasoned journalist with over 12 years of experience, Josephine developed a huge passion for humanitarian services.

Her records show that she is a self-motivated and refined media personality who puts excellence, decorum, confidentiality and ethics first in carrying out her duties.

Josephine holds an MSc. in Mass Communication (Development Communication) from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State, Nigeria and a BA in Mass Communication from the University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

Her role is to be the image maker of GICN and ensure that the impact of its activities are felt across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.

As can be gleaned from the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan of the organization it seems to be consolidating and expanding the gains recorded since its official registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 10th January, 2018.

It will be recalled that GICN remains one of the leading groups working with relevant stakeholders over the past three years in supporting the fight against injustice, corruption, terrorism and economic sabotage in Nigeria.

The organization is equally known for providing free legal assistance and humanitarian services to less privileged persons in the society.

With her coming aboard, Josephine is expected to hit the ground running and contribute her own quota to the actualization of the ultimate objective of GICN which is “leaving a legacy behind” for generations unborn.
