Gombe State governor Inuwa Yahaya has hailed President Bola Tinubu’s appointment of Dr Danjuma Usman Kalba as a federal permanent secretary.
Our correspondent reports that Kalba, an indigent of Gombe State, hails from Kaltungo local government and holds the traditional title of “Batarin Kaltungo”.
In a press release by his media aide, Isma’ila Uba Misilli, on Thursday, the governor described Dr Kalba ‘as a highly skilled professional, seasoned administrator, and committed technocrat whose exceptional career trajectory has earned him this elevation’.
He commended the president for recognising Dr Kalba’s expertise, experience and integrity, adding that his appointment underscores the calibre of talents Gombe State continues to offer in national development.
“I am highly delighted and excited with the appointment of our illustrious son, Dr Danjuma Kalba, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as a Federal Permanent Secretary representing Gombe State. His decades of exemplary service, from his role as Chief Consultant Grade 1 Urologist to Director of Urology at the State House Medical Centre, demonstrate his competence, diligence, and excellent leadership. This appointment is also a reflection of the immense potential of our dear state,” he said.
