Hon. Chief Peter Atianashie Akpanke, the House of Representatives Member representing Obudu/Bekwara/Obanliku Federal Constituency, on Sunday, joined thousands of his constituents in Obudu, the headquarters of the Constituency, to celebrate this year’s Easter amid pomp and pageantry.
The funseekers who were delighted by the presence of the lawmaker, used the occasion to pour encomiums on Hon. Akpanke whom they described as a servant-leader.
While exalting the leadership qualities of Hon. Akpanke, they commended him for his numerous infrastructural and human developmental projects spread across the three local governments.
Responding, Hon. Akpanke charged his constituents to imbibe the lessons of sacrifice, perseverance, forgiveness, and care for the less privileged which the Easter celebration symbolizes.
The lawmaker called on all to remain steadfast and look ahead with hope and determination while drawing inspiration from the enduring message of faith, perseverance, and unity embodied by Easter.
He supported the event with consumables and cash donations.
Similarly, Hon. Peter Akpanke, demonstrated his commitment to community engagement and solidarity by celebrating Easter with market women at Abochiche junction in in Bekwarra Local Government Area.
The unplanned event, held in the heart of the community market while Hon. Peter Akpanke was on his way from a ceremonial engagement in Ogoja.

Following his remarks, Hon. Akpanke distributed some cash gift in appreciation to the market women, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the economy.
