Hon. Philip Agbese Distributes 24 Tricycles To Enone Constituents

Hon. Philip Agbese popularly known as Okanga over the weekend distributed 24 brand new tricycles to his constituents.
The lawmaker representing Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency said the project is primarily at assisting local farmers, is designed to ease the transportation of farm produce from farms to storage facilities and onward to markets.
The event, which drew a large crowd in the constituency comprising Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Local Government Areas, saw beneficiaries praising the lawmaker, who is popularly referred to as “The Enone Servant.”
Beyond agricultural use, the tricycles are also expected to serve as a means of commercial passenger transport, helping to bridge the long distances faced by residents moving between markets and communities.
This tricycle distribution is the latest in a series of empowerment programmes launched by Hon. Agbese, who also serves as the Deputy Spokesman of the 10th House of Representatives.
Highlighting his broader legislative and representative efforts, Agbese, who is also a member of the Nigerian Pan-African Parliament delegation, has sponsored several people-oriented bills and is noted for leading Benue State lawmakers in bill sponsorship and empowerment programmes.
His interventions have extended to other critical areas. Just weeks ago, he provided 490 bags of 50kg Super Bull rice for constituents facing economic hardships, particularly those struggling with school fees and other domestic challenges.
In a move to develop sports talent, the lawmaker has also launched the “Enone Ward Cup” Football Tournament for the 2025/2026 season. The tournament, which boasts a total award prize of N10 million, is designed to harness football talent from the constituency, with promises of further career support for standout players.
