Popular Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, simply known as Simi, has recounted the traumatic experience she had with an overzealous male fan who stalked her for long.
She said the stalked eventually traced her to her doorstep.
The married singer narrated this while featuring on the interview segment of MTV Base Africa’s programme, Official Naija Top 10.
She said the fan heard she stays in an estate and went about asking people in the estate her home address.
Simi said it became a security concern for her.
The mother of one said, “Someone came to my house. He has been asking in the area like ‘Where is Simi?’ Because he heard I stay in that estate. And he was asking around. He actually showed up on my door and was knocking that he is looking for me.
“It was very traumatising because I didn’t feel safe.”
