I Lost N25 Million Ambassadorial Deal, Marriage Nearly Ended Over 2023 Tinubu Support – Foluke Daramola
Foluke Daramola-Salako, a Nollywood actress, has talked candidly about the difficulties she encountered on the personal and professional fronts during the 2023 elections.
She stated in an interview with Behind The Fame TV that she will take a different tack in 2027.
She reportedly disclosed that she lost two ambassadorship agreements worth 10 million and 15 million naira in 2023 as a result of her choice to back President Bola Tinubu.
She also revealed that her position nearly ruined her marriage.
“The reality is that I cannot be the same person I was in 2023 and 2027,” she stated. It can’t be due to Regardless of how much is seen, I am aware of what I lost without gathering a kobo. Due to the election and the Obedient movement, I lost two ambassadorial deals, one at 10 million and the other worth 15 million. My marriage nearly ended.
“The main thing is that I voted based on my conscience and my choice, even though I nearly lost my marriage.”

In Lagos State, Daramola-Salako was named media assistant for the APC’s 2023 presidential campaign council’s performing arts directorate department.
She defended her allegiance to Tinubu in the face of criticism, calling him a father figure who had helped her on several occasions, including her wedding.
Her husband, Peter Obi’s supporter and the leader of the Lagos branch of the Labour Party, Kayode Salako, supported her position.
Nigerians are free to support anybody they want, he said.
He characterized Tinubu as a benefactor to his family and stated that they would prefer not to support any political candidate than to reject him.
