On Tuesday, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, or NSCDC, Kano State Command, bestowed ranks upon 385 recently promoted officers.
Mohammed Lawal-Falala, the commander of the NSCDC for Kano State, spoke at the celebration and asked the promoted officers to continue defending the organization’s basic values and ideals with bravery, diligence, and professionalism.
“I would want to offer my sincere congrats. In your responsibilities, you have shown unmatched bravery, tenacity, and dedication. “Your outstanding performance is reflected in your promotion,” he remarked.
He counseled the command’s officers to take use of every chance and professional advantage to deepen their understanding of the changing security threats facing society.
In her remarks, Lawal-Falala praised Gov. Abba Yusuf and other security agencies for their support of the NSCDC in the state and added, “Together, we must remain vigilant, adaptable, and forward-thinking in our approach to safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens we are sworn to protect.”
The promotion of the officers was hailed by the governor, who was represented by AVM Umar Ibrahim (retd), the Kano State Director-General of Special Duties.
The governor urged the guardians to “remain vigilant and loyal as you continue to safeguard and protect citizens, and never forget that you are ambassadors of peace and justice.”
