An explosion suspected to be a bomb killed two people in Keffi metropolis, the headquarters of Keffi Local Government Area in Nasarawa State.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, opposite General Hospital on Nasarawa Road in Keffi.
According to a source, residents of Keffi town flocked to the scene of the two-bedroom residential flat that was damaged by the explosion as early as 6 a.m. on Sunday.
The source claims that “the incident killed two male occupants of a rented flat in the area.”\

He explained that the victims arrived in Keffi on Saturday afternoon after their journey.
He claimed that they (victims) were on the Department of State Security (DSS) wanted list before nemesis caught up with them, emphasising that the victims understood that the DSS operatives had surrounded their house and had no choice but to blow themselves up with an explosive.
DSP Rahman Nansel, the Police Public Relations Officer, did not respond to the text message sent to him by the correspondent.
