Ingawa Assumes Office as 16th Jigawa NSCDC Commandant

Commandant Muhammad Kabiru Ingawa is the 16th freshly posted State Commandant in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Jigawa State Command.

ASC Badruddeen Tijjani Mahmud, the Command Spokesman, signed a statement that said as much.

He claimed that Commandant Ingawa, a native of Ingawa, Katsina State, is an experienced officer with a wealth of professional knowledge, having served with distinction in the Commands of Katsina, Jigawa, Delta, Kaduna, and Nasarawa States.

Prior to being redeployed to Kaduna, he held a variety of positions in the Jigawa State Command, where he gained extensive knowledge of the state’s security framework. He served as Nasarawa State’s State Commandant until his most recent redeployment.

He is a member of the Associate Corporate Institute of Administration and graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Bayero University in Kano. In order to further his knowledge in administration and security management, he has also participated in a number of seminars and workshops both inside and outside of Nigeria.

Commandant Ingawa completed his advanced coursework at the Nigerian Correctional Staff College in Kaduna after completing his professional basic training at the Correctional Service Training School in Owerri, Imo State.

Among his many honors is the Most Punctual Staff Award he was given at Jigawa State Command in 2013.

It is anticipated that his redeployment to Jigawa State will enhance the Command’s ability to safeguard vital infrastructure and national assets, handle emergencies, and maintain internal security.

He is welcomed by the Command with hope and assurance that his extensive expertise, professionalism, and leadership will greatly advance NSCDC Jigawa State Command and the state’s overall security.

Bala Bawa Bodinga, who was sent to Kano State when its Commandant retired, is replaced by him.
