Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, revealed that China’s military assistance to Nigeria is already having a beneficial impact.
Obasa pointed out that Nigeria is addressing instability with the aid of Chinese military assistance in the form of training and domestic armaments manufacturing.
According to a statement provided to reporters on Tuesday, Obasa gave a speech during the 76th anniversary commemoration of the People’s Republic of China in Lagos. The legislator pointed out that the two nations’ bilateral relationship has greatly benefited Nigeria.
Regarding military assistance, Obasa stated that Nigeria’s current level of security has been enhanced by the assistance it has gotten from China.
He went on to say that Nigerian and other African nations’ security has improved as a result of the two nations’ strengthened military cooperation, with China emphasizing domestic military training and armaments manufacturing.
Obasa also emphasized China’s involvement in Lagos State infrastructure projects.
As part of initiatives to increase security in Nigeria and throughout Africa, China is concentrating on local military training and armaments manufacture, and the two nations’ strengthened military cooperation is already paying off.
