The by-election for the Garki/Babura Federal Constituency on Saturday will be the pivotal event that signals the end of the APC’s rule in Jigawa State, according to Mustapha Sule Lamido, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for governor in the state’s general election in 2023.
Speaking to the party’s supporters at a large campaign event and handing over the party’s flag to its candidate for the next by-election in Babura on Wednesday, Lamido made these remarks.
According to him, Nigerians are prepared to throw the party out in favor of peace and harmony because they have had enough of the suffering they have been through for more than a decade since 2015.
“The APC has been in power for ten years, and the amount of hardship that Nigerians are experiencing is tremendous,” he said. We must overthrow this government and begin with the by-election in the Garki/Babura Federal Constituency.
Because of the suffering they caused Nigerians, the ruling party is being jeered and humiliated. The national and state APCs are causing the nation to regress.
“I am certain that the days of APC are coming to an end based on what I am witnessing today (the massive gathering).”
He urged the electorate to turn out in large numbers, cast their ballots, exercise caution, and make sure their votes are counted.
He stated that the PDP is dedicated to meeting the needs, desires, and ambitions of the average person and is always prepared to do so.
Speaking as well, Auwalu Isah Manzo, the PDP candidate, pledged to address the majority of the issues that the constituents have been dealing with due to the APC’s years of deceit in the Green Chamber.
He promised to work for the party’s victory and thanked the supporters and party leadership for the chance.
