Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state is currently in an urgent and closed door meeting with emirs at the council chambers of the Government House Damaturu, the state capital.
The monarchs are being led by the Chairman of Yobe State Council of Emirs, Mohammadu Abali Ibn Mohammed Idrissa who is the Emir of Fika and is presided by the executive governor.
Although the reason for the call of the meeting is still undisclosed but TheNigerian News gathered that the governor is likely to dwell on partnering the traditional rulers on security and education following the recent declaration of state of emergency on education in the state by the governor.
Buni had earlier promised to involve traditional rulers in mobilizing their people to mitigate apathy and increase enrollment in schools in order to tackle the challenge currently faced in the educational sector in the state.
