Kaduna Government Revokes Sale of Institutional Properties Approved Under El-Rufai
The Kaduna State Government has revoked the sale of institutional houses and plots of land previously approved during the tenure of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
The affected properties are located within Alhuda-Huda College, Zaria; Queen Amina College, Kaduna; and Government Commercial College, Zaria.
The revocation was announced on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, through a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. AbdulKadir Mu’azu Meyere.
He explained that the decision, endorsed in 2024, was made to serve the public interest and promote the common good.
“In line with its commitment to human capital development and the creation of a conducive environment for teaching and learning, the Kaduna State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, has revoked all previous sales of institutional houses and land allocations within the affected colleges,” Dr. Meyere stated.
