Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich has put discussions with Harry Kane on hold in favour of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, according to Sports Extra.
Bayern Munich has put off negotiations and is considering making an offer to Napoli for Osimhen after Tottenham reportedly rejected a €70 million offer for the England international and demanded €90 million instead, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to the Italian publication, the Bavarians are willing to offer more than €100 million even though they are unable to match Napoli’s €180 million asking price.
Instead of spending €90 million on Kane, who will turn 30 on July 28, Bayern would rather spend this amount on the 24-year-old. The club has already started talking with the player’s support group.

It remains to be seen if Napoli, who reportedly turned down a €100 million offer from PSG, will find it sufficient. Osimhen is also appealing to Liverpool.
The Nigerian international will reunite with Kim, the Napoli defender who has agreed to personal terms with the Bundesliga giants ahead of a transfer worth more than €50 million, if he signs with Bayern.
In the meantime, talk TV host Piers Morgan has identified Osimhen as a world-class striker that Arsenal should spend big money to sign because he can help the team go one better next season and score the goals needed to end the team’s 20-year title drought. This comes in response to Arsenal’s impending signing of Declan Rice.
In a tweet, Morgan said, “It’s fantastic that Arsenal seem to have won the race to sign @_DeclanRice who will be an obscenely good addition to the team. But in order to win significant trophies, we also need a top-tier striker who will average 25+ goals per season. For @victorosimhen9, I would spend extravagantly.
