The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps carried out an early morning raid in Lekki today, leading to the arrest of 25 miscreants in a bid to strengthen law and order.
This was revealed in a statement by the Commissioner for Water and Environmental Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on X.com on Thursday.
According to Wahab, during the raid, substances suspected to be hard drugs were found on the miscreants, who have since been detained.
The statement read: “During the early morning raid in the Lekki-Ajah axis, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) #LAGESCOfficial arrested 25 miscreants in Lekki.
“Substances suspected to be hard drugs were also found on them. They have been detained, and appropriate legal action will be taken.”
