May 29: US delegation for Tinubu’s inauguration arrives Nigeria

The team from the United States of America for the inauguration of Nigerian President-elect Bola Tinubu has arrived in the nation.

According to the official Twitter account of the US Mission in Nigeria, the team headed by US Secretary for Housing, Secretary Marcia L. Fudge, arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Sunday afternoon ahead of the inauguration on Monday, May 29.

@UsinNigeria tweeted upon the arrival of the 9-member team sanctioned by the US president, “Welcome to Nigeria! We are delighted to welcome the group from @POTUS Biden, headed by @SecFudge from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, as they join us in Abuja for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration.”
