Premier League giants, Manchester United may have to look elsewhere as Napoli are not ready to let go of the Red Devils’ top summer transfer priority, Victor Osimhen.
This is as the Azzurri President, Aurelio De Laurentiis ruled out any plan of selling the Serie A top goalscorer this summer.
De Laurentiis in a chat with German newspaper Bild, categorically stated that the lethal striker is not for sale.
He admitted that Napoli players are in demand following impressive run this season, but was quick to dismiss chances of selling any player.
“He (Osimhen) is not for sale! Our players are in demand, but I don’t have to sell anyone. We don’t have any debts,” he said.
Osimhen is the highest goal scorer in the Italian top-flight this campaign with 16 goals in 17 appearances.
Aside from Man Utd, PSG, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich are the other top European clubs rumored to be waiting to break the bank to sign the 24-year-old talismanic forward this summer.
