357 personnel have been promoted from the position of Customs Assistant 1 to Inspector of Customs by the Nigeria Customs Service.
The National Public Relations Officer for Nigeria Customs, Abdullahi Maiwada, revealed this in a statement on Saturday.
He claims that on December 1, 2023, during the 7th management meeting, which was presided over by Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adeniyi, the elevation was approved.
The promoted officers were advised by the head of customs to intensify their efforts in achieving the primary goal of the service, which is generating money.
The following is said in the statement: “The entire list of promotions includes both General Duty (GD) and Support Staff (SS) employees who performed very well in the 2023 promotion process.
The officers who have been promoted are distributed as follows: CA I to AIC, 39 (GD); CA I to IC, 27 (SS); CA II to CA I, 7 (SS); and CA III to CA II, 1 (GD).
