Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has stated that the project Nigeria has yet to reach its ultimate aim.
President Obasanjo stated that it is the obligation of all stakeholders to remain consistent and continue to work till the country takes its place among nations.
The former President made the remarks at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja during the current public presentation of former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido’s autobiography, “Being True to Myself”.

Obasanjo advised former Governor Lamido to dismiss any notion of retiring from active participation in efforts to birth a new nation.

He informed him that Nigeria had not gotten to where it should be, and that it was the responsibility of all parties to see that the work was completed.
“We haven’t arrived in Nigeria, which is where we are working. And I feel it is our obligation to ensure that we get there. “Our job is not done until we are finished,” he stated.

It was claimed that former Senate President and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu would read Lamido’s book, Being True to Myself.
