Nigerian Army Apprehends Arms Dealer in Plateau

In the Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, troops from the Nigerian Army’s 3 Division, acting as part of Operation Safe Haven, have captured firearms and captured a notorious gunrunner along the Bokkos-Bot-Mangu road.

Zagazola Makama, a security analyst, presented this knowledge in a publication on Thursday.
He claimed that the operation was carried out using accurate information about the movement of weapons and ammunition in the area.

At around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sengi David, 21, of Kopal Village in the Panyam District of Mangu LGA, was apprehended while trying to smuggle the firearms.
The report stated, “He was found in possession of 48 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and one AK-47 magazine with civil police markings.”
