The costs of its goods and services have been examined by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). It stated that after ten years of sticking to the same pricing system, the review was completed.
The Commission “conducted a comprehensive review to ensure alignment with current operational costs and industry standards,” according to a statement signed by Dr. Kayode Adegoke, Head of Corporate Communications at NIMC.
“The updated pricing structure aims to ensure affordability and accessibility for Nigerians while maintaining the quality and integrity of NIMC’s services,” he stated. The increased rates will go into effect right away.
All Front-End Partners (FEPs) are cautioned by NIMC to rigorously follow the new pricing structure.
Any FEP who is discovered to be charging higher than the permitted rates may be subject to penalties, which may include license revocation.
“NIMC is dedicated to safeguarding Nigerians’ interests and making sure that our services are provided at reasonable and open rates.” The revised price structure would be made available to all Nigerians and pertinent stakeholders on the NIMC website, www.nimc.gov.ng.

Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, NIMC DG/CEO, would like to express gratitude to Nigerians, sister agencies, and all of its partners for their unwavering support in the interim.
Nonetheless, Adegoke stated, “She conveys her profound gratitude to President Tinubu, the Honorable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Harmonization partners, and the Management and staff of NIMC for their invaluable assistance in establishing a robust and enduring National Identity System.”
