OKANGA 1 OF AGILA, HON. PHILIP AGBESE, DISPLAYS UNMATCHED KINDNESS AS HE PRESENTS TRACTOR AND MOTORCYCLE TO SUPPORT HIS PEOPLE

In what has been described as an extraordinary display of kindness, leadership, and community spirit, Hon. Philip Agbese, popularly known as the Okanga 1 of Agila and the distinguished member representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, has once again written his name in gold in the hearts of his people.
Today, Hon. Agbese presented a brand-new RIMA tractor through the President of Club 01. Mr. Onmeje Okibe to the Youth Leader of Apa-Agila and the APC Ward Chairman, Hon. Ogezi Ikwebe in a bold move aimed at boosting agricultural development within the community. The gesture, which came as part of his ongoing efforts to promote self-reliance and food productivity, has been hailed as a turning point for rural farmers who have long struggled with mechanization challenges.

While presenting the tractor, Hon. Agbese emphasized that agriculture remains the backbone of the local economy and that empowering youths and community leaders with the right tools is key to ensuring sustainable development. According to him, the tractor is not just a gift but an investment in the future of Apa-Agila and an opportunity for young people to embrace agribusiness as a viable means of livelihood.
In a separate act of rare compassion, the Okanga 1 also extended a hand of love to the family of Late Mr. Emmanuel Orinya, fondly known as Mata7, who was one of his loyal supporters before his demise. Hon. Agbese presented a brand-new motorcycle to the deceased’s family, describing it as a token of remembrance and appreciation for the sacrifices and loyalty Mr. Orinya displayed during his lifetime.
The emotional presentation moved many in attendance, who described the gesture as a reflection of Hon. Agbese’s humility, empathy, and deep sense of responsibility toward his people.
Truly, the Okanga 1 of Agila has once again proven that leadership is not only about holding office but about touching lives, healing hearts, and empowering communities for lasting progress.
