Gboyega Oyetola, the winner of the recent governorship election in Osun State and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been inaugurated as Governor of the state.
Oyetola officially took over from his predecessor, Rauf Aregbesola, in Osogbo, the state capital, after he was sworn-in by the Chief Judge of the state on Tuesday.
The event had in attendance: governors from the South-West, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha, who represented President Muhammadu Buhari, the Ooni of Ife, among others.
Nigerians were divided about his emergence.
Here’s a peek at what few had to say on Twitter.

Moving round Osogbo the Osun State capital, confirms the fact that #theinterimgov swearing in is a highly detested catastrophe in Osun State.

Aregbesola got his mandate to become Governor of Osun through the people’s goodwill & a fair legal system only to rob the same people of their mandate with the mandate they gave him.
He needs to ask the people for forgiveness and restitute to find peace. #ByeAregbesola
