In a massive show of solidarity, thousands of women in Owukpa today gathered at a historic meeting where they unanimously endorsed Hon. Chief Dr. Philip Agbese, popularly known as Okanga 1 K’Agila, for the 2027 elections.
The women, dressed in vibrant attire, filled the venue with songs and chants in praise of the lawmaker, describing him as “the people’s honourable” and a true representative of their interests. Speakers at the event highlighted Agbese’s track record of empowerment initiatives, educational support, and grassroots development as key reasons for their endorsement.

“If you have women by your side, then the rest is history,” declared one of the leaders of the women’s group. “Hon. Agbese has shown us that leadership is about service, and we are ready to stand with him all the way.”
