Olorogun Oskar Ibru, the head of the Ibru Organization and a Nigerian business magnate, has died.
After a brief illness, it was discovered that Oscar passed away at the age of 67.
A family source confirmed the death to Arise News on Wednesday, but they would not provide any information about Oskah’s cause of death.
His death occurs fewer than ten years after Michael Ibru, the family patriarch, passed away in 2016.
It is anticipated that Oskah’s funeral plans will be revealed shortly.
Dele Momodu, a seasoned writer and editor of Ovation International, responded to the news on Wednesday by calling Ibru a socialite par excellence and an incredibly amiable man in an Instagram post.
He stated, “I just received word in the heavens that OLORUNGUN OSKAR IBRU, one of Nigeria’s most recognizable businesspeople, has passed away. Families and friends adored him because he was a very gregarious man and a socialite in the best sense of the word. He was the son of OLOROGUN MICHAEL IBRU, a titan of business. Peace be with you, my beloved brother.
Oskah is one of the most well-known descendants of the Ibru dynasty and a significant player in Nigeria’s business community.
He played a key role in maintaining and growing the conglomerate founded by his late father, Olorogun Michael Ibru, whose commercial empire encompassed commerce, real estate, shipping, and oil and gas.
