Rescue abducted students in Kaduna without paying ransom – Tinubu orders security personnel

The incident involving the kidnap of over 200 college students in Kaduna state was deliberated extensively on the Federal Govt Council assembly on Wednesday, prompting President Bola Tinubu to concern a stern directive to the safety personnel to not pay any dime to the abductors in the middle of rescuing them.

Minister of Data and Nationwide Orientation, Mohammed Idris made the directive identified whereas briefing State Home Correspondents.

In line with Idris, the President has issued a directive to the safety personnel to go after the abductors and guarantee they rescue the captives and reunite them with their households with out paying a dime as ransom.

Recall that over 280 pupils and academics of Authorities Secondary Faculty and LEA main college at Kuriga, Kaduna State had been kidnapped by bandits not too long ago, triggering nationwide outrage.

The bandits reportedly invaded the Kuriga space of the Chikun Native Authorities Space of Kaduna State, taking pictures at their victims earlier than taking away at the very least 280 comprising of scholars and academics away.
