Rivers: Gov’s Aide Orji Explains Why Fubara’s Impeachment Is Doomed to Fail

The impeachment attempt against his principal will not succeed, according to Darlington Orji, an advisor to Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara.

Orji clarified that the State House of Assembly’s accusations against Fubara are unfounded, hence the impeachment will be unsuccessful.

Orji, who appeared on Arise Television’s Morning Show, claimed that only the Assembly could provide an explanation for Fubara’s wrongdoing and the purported cash theft.

“There is no truth in this process, so I can tell you for free that it will not scale through,” he stated. Additionally, they are the only ones who can determine whether there has been misappropriation or egregious wrongdoing, as you stated.

“Yes, since you will concur with me that numerous courts across the country have likewise disregarded numerous impeachment procedures due to procedural irregularities.

“I’m not a member of the House, but I can tell you about us because I’m on the ground and we reached out to so many of them. Many of them are friends of mine, and we have always collaborated in the past.

They are dissatisfied with this method. And I have no doubt that this process will be finished before the end of the day and within the upper week.
