Philip Aduda, a former senator from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), will serve as chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee in Kogi State.
The 14-person committee was authorised after long discussions with the Kogi State Stakeholders by the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), according to a release signed by the party’s national organising secretary, Honourable Umar Bature.
According to Bature, the committee “will manage our party’s business in the state once the term of the then-elected State Working Committee expires.”
Senator Aduda will preside as chairman, and Hon. George Daika will act as secretary. Hon. Siyaka Uchunaye, Chief Dayo Akande, Paul Ukwenya, Hon. Gbenga Olorunnipa, and Hon. Joshua Adejoh are other members. Members include Grace Atawodi, Audu Idris, Hon. Sheidu O Abara, Bilkisu Onusagba, and Abiola Olajubu.
At the National Executive Committee (NEC) Hall of the Wadata Plaza Headquarters in Abuja, the Committee is ready to be officially launched.
