Big Brother Naija reality show star, Pere Egbi, has revealed what attracted him to Mercy Eke.
He said his attraction to her wasn’t just physical, stressing that her strong faith and love for God was what drew him to her.
Speaking in an interview with Miracle OP, the actor noted that he is also a lover of God.
He said he also noticed that Mercy has grown so much positively from who she was during the ‘Pepper Dem’ season in 2019.
Pere said, “My attraction to Mercy is not just physical. From the small knowledge I had about Mercy, I think from her previous season and what I saw in my first two weeks in the House with her, was a woman who had grown. So that caught my attention.
“Secondly, I’m a spiritual guy. I love God and I love people who love God. One day, I was going into the blue room to do something, and I saw a bible on Mercy’s bed. The bed was empty. I went away. That night, I took a pip in the blue room, there she was reading her bible. When you see Mercy, you would not think she would be the type of spiritual person who would love God. And then I saw her again several times praying before she went to bed. Even after we bonded, she kept on doing the same thing every night. She would say she wants to study the bible and pray. I was intrigued by that.”
