A Magistrate Court, sitting in Ifo, Ifo local government area of Ogun State, on Monday, granted Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly called Portable bail of N300,000, with two sureties from his immediate family.
The Controversial singer was arraigned by Ogun State Police Command on a three-count charge bothering on assault and theft of musical equipment.
The presiding Magistrate ordered Portable to fulfil the bail condition before leaving the court premises.
Recall that the ‘Zazu’ crooner was on Friday arrested and taken into custody at the Ogun State Police Headquarters in Abeokuta, after the expiration of a 72-hour ultimatum handed to him to report himself.
The Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, on Saturday, said Portable will be facing at least a six-count charge when he appears at the court following his assault on some police officers.
However, only three three-count charges were pressed against him at the court on Monday.
