Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has confirmed that there was a security breach at her Lagos home recently.
The incident happened on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
Confirming the incident in a statement issued via her verified Instagram page, her management said some suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The statement read, “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April, 2023, that there was a major security breach at the recent of musician Tiwa Savage. A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi. Ms Savage and family are all safe.”
Meanwhile, self-acclaimed investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has claimed the security breach was an attempt to kidnap the singer.
In a post shared via her Instagram handle, Olunloyo alleged that Tiwa Savage’s new driver masterminded the attempted kidnap with his cohorts.
